Morgan has unveiled the Midsummer Coupé, a closed-roof and even more exclusive version of the already rare Midsummer, developed in partnership with Italy’s Pininfarina.
According to Car Magazine, the model originated from a customer request for a fixed-roof interpretation of the roadster launched in 2024, eventually evolving into a small limited-production series.
Only nine customer cars will be built, in addition to a reference prototype used by the brand as an “artist’s proof.” The car also marks Morgan‘s return to the coupé format after more than a decade without producing a closed-roof model.

The Midsummer Coupé retains the brand’s handcrafted philosophy while adopting a new structure featuring a fixed glass roof, including a large panoramic section that enhances the sculptural character of the design. The bodywork continues to be crafted from hand-formed aluminum, with an emphasis on lightweight construction and premium craftsmanship.
Under the hood, the model is powered by a BMW inline-six engine from the B58 family, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The platform has also been reinforced to accommodate the new roof and increase structural rigidity compared with the roadster.

The interior follows Morgan‘s tradition of handcrafted luxury, featuring leather, wood, and aluminum individually tailored for each customer. As is typical for the brand, every example will be highly customized, reinforcing its status as a one-of-a-kind creation within the limited series.

The project reinforces Morgan‘s strategy of combining retro-inspired design, handcrafted construction, and high-end partnerships while maintaining its position in the niche of ultra-limited collector cars. Although pricing has not been disclosed, Car Magazine speculated that the model is expected to cost more than £200,000.
